    and Instructions
    You are bidding on a new set of plans for a 1/10 Scale Boeing Stearman PT 13D / PT-17 . A small scale plan for the famous plane that saw such long service in the Army and Navy. This design features light balsa, and built-up construction and a wing with scale rib spacing. It includes the Plans and templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this beauty. Building instructions are also included. Plans show glow power, but it would be easy enough to convert to electric power. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. This plan is in perfect condition. All of my items come from a totally smoke free environment.

    (Stearman became a subsidiary of Boeing in 1934) or
    Kaydet
    is a biplane, of which 8584 were built in the United States during the 1930's and 40's as a military trainer aircraft. It served as a Primary trainer for theUSAAAF (as the Kaydet) and as a basic trainer for the USN (as the N2S) throughoutWorl War II. After the conflict was over, thousands of surplus aircraft were sold on the civil market. In the immediate post-war years they became popular as crop dusters and as sports planes.
    The US Army Air Forces Kaydet had three different designations based on its power plant:
    PT-13
    , with a Lycoming engine,
    PT-17
    , with aContinental R-670 engine, and
    PT-18
    , with a Jacobs engine.
